Our Story
Tok Tok Therapies was founded on the Gold Coast by Siemma Kent in 2017. ‘Tok Tok’ originates from the Solomon Islands, and means ‘talking’. Siemma was born and raised in the Solomons before moving to Australia. Having worked in an early intervention centre for four years as a Speech Pathologist, Siemma realised there was a need for providing mobile therapy to families across the Gold Coast region. Specialising in the field of autism as a new graduate, fuelled Siemma’s passion for providing a quality service that could allow continuity of care for her students. Siemma has enjoyed the privilege of working with some of her students for over eight consecutive years.
Siemma has always been a firm believer in collaboration and working within a multidisciplinary team. Expanding her Tok Tok family has allowed them to service more families and provide more holistic care. Siemma hopes to continue growing their Tok Tok family to include a wide range of disciplines. Her current team brings a wealth of experience and knowledge, and most importantly, a strong dedication to making a difference in the lives of their students.

Our Services
Tok Tok Therapies specialise in providing individualised therapy programs for children with developmental delays, with a predominant caseload of learners with autism spectrum disorder. Our holistic, multidisciplinary approach allows us to provide therapy that addresses each child’s unique needs from communication and sensory processing differences, through to behaviour, social skills and everything in between. We work with children in their early years right up until teenagers preparing for adulthood.
We are a team of qualified speech pathologists, behavioural analysts and therapy assistants that work together to create a tailored Growth Plan that addresses your child’s unique needs.
Our specialised team of therapists operate across the entire Gold Coast region from Ormeau to Tugun and everywhere in between. We also now have a clinic room operating out of Varsity Lakes.
